The Arcane Jintachi was given to those that achieved the third soul of the warrior. Only after years of training with a soul master and completing the formidable training could one claim the right to wield the Arcane Jintachi. Decorated with a wrapped handle and scabbard in black which is the realization of nothingness(mushin) and gold which symbolizes the wealth that is discovered with inner peace, the Arcane Jintachi was created in these colors. The third warrior would seek out a greater peace by yielding his sword to those that sought for enlightenment and often became guardians of the most treasured temples. Few of these warriors remain today, and only by their Jintachi will you know them. The Arcane Jintachi has a 28 inch 440 stainless steel blade and includes a black lacquered with golden design scabbard. The overall length of the sword is 41 3/4".

This sword is just beautiful. A great addition to any collection. It's light to use and makes an excellent sound cutting through the air. I haven't actually tested it for its sharpness of the blade, but I can only assume it is about as sharp as my other katana. It will dent if hit against something like tree branches and such, so be careful of what you swing at if you do.

The only reason I rate this sword as light contact use is because I am unwilling to test its abilities. You feel one with the sword when holding it, it's like an extension of your arm. Great balance and feel. It's one of the prized pieces in my collection.

As being in the Martial Arts studing in Aikido. Were the sword is very highly used. I would rec.. this to any one with any knowlege of the sword tech.. the blade is very sharp, and will keep its edge. I have used this sword for cutting soaked rolled straw,plastic jugs filled with water,to other swords,the way it feels in your hand is great and the speed of the blade is great as well.. To make a long story short it is a great sword for the money and you will not go wrong for buying it.
