Description
Robert the Bruce is the true Braveheart for the Scottish people. This is quite literal because before he died, he asked Sir James Douglas to take his heart on Crusade. Though the Mel Gibson movie immortalizes William Wallace, it was Robert the Bruce who eventually made England recognize Scottish independence. Robert the Bruce was an extremely interesting and dynamic man and he had a ceremonial sword.
This sword is an inspired reproduction of that sword. The en45 High Carbon Steel blade is inscribed with the name of Robert the Bruce written in French. Scotland and France has a long history of working together and having a close relationship.
