With Wing Chun as my style I was surprisingly slow to end up getting a pair of these eight cut swords. I have been looking for just the right pair and I wasn’t sure which ones would be a good quality. But I knew about APOC and saw the price so I figured I’d give it a go and if anything is ready for the apocalypse it would be this. And I was not disappointed. These come in simple packaging, all the value is in the swords, they are matched and they fit into one scabbard and I was worried it would be uncomfortable due to the split grip but it’s actually very comfortable. Holding it feels natural and secure. It is made of rugged steel and some micarta grips. They both fit into one scabbard which is of the secure X style, The plastic of the scabbard elastically wraps around the guards and grip to hold it in even if you turn it upside down and then there’s a nylon strap with a snap button. It hangs down low on your belt but the group sticks up more than enough that your shirt goes behind the grip and you don’t have any open carry difficulties. It’s very sharp and definitely pointy. He comes well oiled. Not greased.
